According to research that was done on each of the school listed above, each school’s programs entails Acupuncture, Biomedical sciences, Chinese herbal medicine, bodywork, mind-body medicine-Asian bodywork, case management, practice management and clinical communications. Most acupuncturist schools require students to obtain a minimum of 300 hours including in class procedures and on hand. Remember hours may vary especially if you are considering on moving out of state. You will also have to acquire a certain amount of on hand hours which varies by school as well. Of course, education isn’t the last step to getting in to the Acupuncture profession. You have to take an examination which is required to obtain a state license to practice. Depending on which state you take the exam in, you will need to pass with at least 75% in order to obtain your license for that specific state. If you are interested in taking an exam to obtain your license you should register yourself for an exam date.
